November 4, 2019

Welcome to the HubCap

It's Lizzy from the Hub -- fancy seeing you here! This looks different, right? Well, we are piloting a new home for the HubCap. It has been on the Salesforce.org blog in the past, but now it lives here! You can still find the past HubCaps HERE.

I know there's a LOT going on in the Salesforce world these days... and that's why I'm here to help share the highlights :)

The HubCap is the monthly blog series that highlights the best of the Power of Us Hub! Think of this as your one-stop-shop for all Salesforce.org content & resources from the past month and a preview for what's up and coming.
Below, you'll find:

1. Important Updates

If you don't read any further, these are the important takeaways from October in the Salesforce.org community!

“Ready, Set, Lightning!” [DELAYED until Jan 2020]

  • You may have heard that the Winter ‘20 “Turn on Lightning Experience” critical update has been delayed. Now, in January 2020, Salesforce will turn on Lightning Experience on a rolling basis for all orgs and all users (for standard profiles & any custom profiles with “Lightning Experience User” permission enabled). But just because the critical update is delayed, doesn’t mean you should wait to transition your org!

Pro Bono Week 2019 [Oct 21 - 25, 2019]

Announcing Program Management Innovations in Nonprofit Cloud

  • We’re expanding our Nonprofit Cloud capabilities and are announcing solutions to streamline service delivery to reach more clients and deliver tailored programs at scale. On October 17, we announced our commitment to build new Nonprofit Cloud Case Management and Volunteer Management products and adding key Program Management functionality in the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
