The Official Meetings Show for Florida, November 28-30, 2018, is a three-day event that brings together selected meeting professionals and top Florida hotels and resorts, attractions, and event suppliers to showcase Florida as the premier meetings destination. New sponsor benefits this year include early access to appointment setting with meeting planners and an invitation to participate in the new Supplier Sip & Showcase opening event. The online Marketing Planner is your source for cooperative marketing programs. Each year, new advertising, public relations, meetings & conventions, and travel trade opportunities are negotiated for buy-in at rates Marketing Partners are not able to obtain on their own. Expedia - Digital
Expedia Media Solutions U.S. provides a network of trusted travel brands including CheapTickets, Expedia, Hotels.com, Hotwire, Orbitz and Travelocity. International Opportunities

World Travel Market London
Join VISIT FLORIDA for World Travel Market in London on November 5-7, 2018. WTM is the leading global event for the tourism industry attracting more than 51,000 travel industry professionals representing 189 countries and regions. WTM is held under one roof and is a business-to-business exhibition that provides a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade industry to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business. WTO London Signature Dinner, November 5, 2018. VISIT FLORIDA will also host this signature dinner which has become a “must attend” event for U.K. and Irish travel trade and media on Monday evening. Attended by more than 250 guests, the dinner provides the perfect backdrop for the Florida tourism industry to network with U.K. and Irish representatives that promote travel to our state. Learn more or register here.

Public Relations & Media Outreach

Each year, VISIT FLORIDA hosts media receptions and missions in both domestic and international markets. Partners can learn more about these programs by visiting the Online Marketing Planner and selecting “Public Relations” under Program Types.

Host a Media Trip Program
VISIT FLORIDA’s PR Department is always working with media to encourage coverage of Florida and increase mentions of our Partners. We are pleased to provide qualified media, (journalists/photographers and social influencers) the opportunity to visit Florida on an individual press trip or a group FAM tour.

Host a Media Trip is an ongoing, free program, created to gauge your interest and to learn about offerings you provide, so we may identify media appropriate for promoting your destination. Share your interests and details with our team by completing the Host a Media Trip Form

Domestic Media Reception
Participate in this media reception hosted in a top domestic feeder market to provide an opportunity for Partners to showcase their destinations and pitch story ideas to top-tier travel journalists and influencers. This annual reception includes more than 30 media guests. Examples from past receptions include Good Morning America, Fodors, The Ellen DeGeneres Skift, Travel Weekly and Travel + Leisure, as well as several representatives from meeting and wedding publications, LGBT outlets and food writers. Partners unable to attend are encouraged to provide a press release with up to five photos and a video for inclusion on a media kit for the event. Visit the Online Marketing Planner for more details and to apply. ITB Berlin 2019
Join us for the world's largest tourism fair in Berlin, Germany, March 6-10, 2019. Partners are invited to purchase space within the VISIT FLORIDA stand located in the Brand USA Pavilion. The first three days of the show are dedicated to trade only and the last two days are open to the general public. In 2018, there were 160,000 visitors, among those 110,000 trade visitors from over 180 countries.

Welcome Center Marketing Opportunities

Welcome Center - Kid's Corner Sponsorship
Visitor Services has a unique sponsorship opportunity available to Marketing Partners only. Each of the four highway Welcome Centers have a designated area for our visitors traveling with children.

VISIT FLORIDA's Kid's Corner offers a "play" area to educate and entertain the kids while parents get the travel information they need. Kid's Corner features signage with the sponsor's name and offers a special brochure distribution point.

Partner Investment: $1,500 per year, with a 2-year commitment


Brochure Rack Space Display Program
Did you know travelers visiting our Official Florida Welcome Centers pick up more than 14 million brochures annually? 

Make sure people see your information by participating in the Brochure Rack Space program at one or all of our five Official Florida Welcome Centers.
