Dear graduate students,

I hope the fall semester is going smoothly for you and that you're taking good care. I’m reaching out with a couple important updates, including a partnership to help you with internet costs and extended Fall 2020 graduation deadlines. Please find more information below:
  • In a new partnership with Cox Communications, UNLV students who do not already have access to the internet in their homes can get access to discounted rates through the Cox Cares program. Applications are due Sept. 22. Learn more and apply.

  • Like we extended graduation deadlines in spring and summer 2020, we are extending graduation deadlines for fall 2020 to support you during these challenging times. Please find the updated deadline information below:

For Students NOT Completing a Thesis, Dissertation, or Doctoral Project

    Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 → Monday, Oct. 26, 2020
Final day to apply and submit an application for graduation through MyUNLV account.

Please note: A $75 graduation and commencement fee will be placed on student accounts (one fee per degree/certificate) beginning the first day of registration for the semester in which they have applied to graduate; or, if registration has already opened, the fee will be applied within two business days. Students applying for graduation on or after Oct. 2 will need to email grad.rpc@unlv.edu to request the graduation application be added to their MyUNLV account, as the option will not be available automatically in MyUNLV after Oct. 1. Students applying for graduation after Oct. 26 will be assessed a late fee.

    Thursday Dec. 3 → Monday, Dec. 14, 2020
Last day to submit the Culminating Experience Results Form for students not completing a thesis, dissertation, or doctoral project. All other required forms should be submitted prior to the submission of the Culminating Experience Results Form.
