Ambassadors are highly visible members of the Graduate College team helping to build a strong graduate student Rebel community and strengthen ties between the Graduate College, alumni, and community members by participating in on- and off-campus events.
RAMP pairs undergraduate and graduate students -- who are overseen by a faculty mentor -- on research/scholarly/creative projects to provide them with the opportunity to learn from one another and gain valuable skills. Graduate student applications are due June 1. Undergraduate student applications are due June 30.

Cocurricular Certifications
The Graduate College offers three yearlong cocurricular certifications in the areas of research, teaching, and mentorship.
The Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp assists students working on major writing pieces, including theses, dissertations, and publications. The summer Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp session will take place Aug. 9-13.
The Graduate College is looking for graduate students to be mentors in the Grad Rebel Advantage program, which helps prepare UNLV undergraduate students for graduate school at UNLV or elsewhere. Mentors must have completed at least one year of graduate studies at UNLV by the program start date, be enrolled in at least 3 graduate credits while serving as a mentor in both fall and spring semesters, and be in good academic standing. Graduate and undergraduate student applications are due June 30.
With students approaching the semester finish line and the job market beginning to heat up, UNLV Career Services is hosting a virtual career fair. In addition to full-time career positions, several employers will be offering paid internships and summer opportunities. Students can explore career options by signing up for groups or face-to-face virtual mini-sessions with the more than 50 employers and organizations in attendance. The Graduate College will be celebrating the university's Spring 2021 doctoral graduates at a virtual reception hosted on Remo, a virtual event platform that allows guests to join tables and interact with small groups of people at a time. Please RSVP by May 12.
