By reviewing how to identify, apply for, receive, and manage grants, this workshop will provide an overview of the full lifecycle of a grant. Oct. 7: Using Multimedia and Creating Engaging Videos in Online Courses
Participants of this workshop will understand non-academic job offers from a variety of employment sectors, learn strategies for how to negotiate a job offer, learn when it is most appropriate to bring up salary negotiations, and discuss what items are more negotiable than others. Learn more.
Learn how to use the Mendeley library of information resources to work more efficiently with research teams. Share folders and files and collaboratively annotate articles to improve group communications. Learn more.
Mendeley has hundreds of citation styles for journals and conference proceedings, but sometimes a unique style may be required. Attendees will learn how to modify an existing style to suit their need using Mendeley's Citation Style Language Editor. Learn more.

The student health insurance waiver period for graduate and professional students for the Fall 2020 semester is May 4-Oct. 5, 2020. Students must complete a waiver once every academic year. Students who don't submit a waiver by Oct. 5 will be required to pay for the student health insurance. Waivers completed in previous years will not carry over.
