MasterClass is a review of the best practices of online teaching by taking a tour through a peer's course. Select faculty will showcase their course content, approach, and style preferences highlighting the best practices of online teaching. This is an opportunity to gain new ideas, discuss best practices, and make the connection between course design and delivery. The Rebel Grad Slam 3-Minute Thesis Competition is an annual event for graduate students to showcase their research and scholarship in an engaging way. To prepare for the competition, graduate students are encouraged to attend this workshop where they will learn about the Rebel Grad Slam 3MT, learn strategies for streamlining important aspects of their research and its broader significance, learn how to design a slide that will stand out during the competition, hear from previous winners and judges who will discuss their experiences with the Rebel Grad Slam 3MT, and work on their draft or completed presentation outline for the Rebel Grad Slam 3MT.

The Graduate College thesis/dissertation office hours are held remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-2 p.m. Email grad.td@unlv.edu at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a time to meet online and get your thesis/dissertation questions answered.
