Feb. 10: Navigating the UNLV Graduate College T/D Process Part 1: IRB & Formatting
A thesis and dissertation require original research and must adhere to protocol outlined by the Office of Research Integrity. Once a thesis or dissertation is complete, it is submitted to the Graduate College, submitted to iThenticate, and published on ProQuest. All thesis and dissertations, regardless of area of study, must adhere to the formatting guidelines as established by the Graduate College. Each spring semester, the Graduate & Professional Student Research Forum
showcases the excellence in research conducted at the graduate student level. Using a conference-style format, students present their work through posters or oral presentations evaluated by faculty judges. Session winners are granted monetary awards and support to advance their research. The Forum will be hosted virtually on April 2 and 3 and is open to all graduate and professional students.
