Spring 2019

A Message from
Dean Kate Korgan
Greetings! I hope that 2019 has been wonderful for you so far.

The end of last year and beginning of this year have been very exciting for us at UNLV. As you likely know by now, the university reached Carnegie R1 status in December much earlier than we’d anticipated.

#RebelsGive Final Results
In October, we shared that over the course of 1,957 minutes, more than 2,000 gifts totaling more than $900,000 were given to UNLV during #RebelsGive, the university's inaugural giving day. The UNLV Foundation has tallied all the results, and the Graduate College, specifically, received more than 215 gifts totaling more than $16,000!

All gifts given to the Graduate College during #RebelsGive will support graduate student scholarships; the Professional Development Academy; the Graduate College General Fund; and graduate student research, conference, and travel expenses.

Thank you for supporting UNLV's graduate students!
