Dean Kate Korgan |
As the semester and calendar year wind down, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support of the Graduate College and our students. This semester was one of the busiest in recent memory, and you met it with unwavering enthusiasm and dedication. I am so grateful for all you do!
From new events and initiatives to new processes and systems, you rolled up your sleeves, learned new ways of doing things, and helped our students understand all that’s happening. Change -- even change for the better -- can be unsettling, so I thank you for partnering with us as we continually innovate and strive to improve graduate education at UNLV.
We were thrilled to roll out Curriculog, our new online, automated system for course and program proposals. We are equally thrilled to roll out digital student forms and phase II of the Grad Rebel Gateway right after the new year. These new systems are steps toward achieving our Top Tier mission, so thank you for taking the journey with us, and the road continues in several new and exciting ways in the semesters ahead. Change is always afore and never behind us!
