Dec. 1: Living Through a Triple Pandemic: A Facilitated Conversation
There are three crises simultaneously affecting our communities: COVID-19, social injustice, and economic insecurity. Navigating life as a college student in the midst of a single crisis is challenging. Navigating life as a college student amid concurrent crises is inordinate. Join this workshop for a facilitated conversation about the crises affecting us today and how we can take action to help ourselves and others. Learn more.

Adjustments to Operations and Courses
Through Sunday, Jan. 10 the Student Recreation Center and Student Union buildings will be closed. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Jan. 10 the University Libraries and computer labs will be closed. Health services will continue to be offered by appointment only through the Student Health Center. Mental health services will continue through
Student Counseling and Psychological Services. Individual instructors will contact students if there are any changes to in-person courses through the end of the semester. Any adjustments in health science programs will come from the deans.
Thesis/Dissertation Office Hours
The Graduate College thesis/dissertation office hours are held remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-2 p.m. Email grad.td@unlv.edu at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a time to meet online and get your thesis/dissertation questions answered.

Tuesday, Dec. 1 is no ordinary Tuesday. It's #GivingTuesday, an annual one-day global fundraising movement that encourages everyone to get involved in transforming their communities. The Graduate College is seeking community support on #GivingTuesday for the Graduate Student Emergency Support Fund. This fund provides emergency financial support
for students who need help with basic needs, such as food and housing, as well as resources they need to complete their studies, such as loaner laptops and software licenses. If you know anyone who may be interested in supporting the Graduate Student Emergency Fund, please invite them to make a gift on Dec. 1.
