Grad Rebel Gateway Phase II is Live!
Phase II of the Grad Rebel Gateway launched in early January. The Grad Rebel Gateway is the portal through which your students apply for admission, graduate assistantships, scholarships and fellowships. Now, the Grad Rebel Gateway is a personalized portal for current students, too. There are new tabs in your students’ Grad Rebel Gateway portal, one of which is called Forms, and this is where they will complete and track the status of all their Graduate College forms. With this move to online, electronic forms in the enhanced Grad Rebel Gateway, Graduate College paper forms are being phased out.

More specifically, please note the following:
  • The Degree Audit Companion paper form PDF was removed from the Forms page of the Graduate College website on Dec. 18. Degree Audit Companion forms are no longer being accepted. For more details, click here.
  • All other Graduate College student forms were removed from the Forms page of the Graduate College website on Feb. 1. The Graduate College will no longer accept any paper forms after March 1. Students who have already submitted paper forms do not need to complete the same form electronically unless they are contacted by a Graduate College team member. For more details, click here.
  • Now, students will initiate their forms in the Gateway and they will automatically route to everyone who needs to review and sign each specific form.
  • We’ve prepared a short video for you to see your students’ view of the Grad Rebel Gateway and how they will complete and submit forms; you can access it here.
If you are a dean, chair, or graduate coordinator, please remember to routinely check your generic email to see, review, and respond to these forms.

Graduate faculty who need to review a student’s e-form will receive them at their personal @unlv.edu email. If you are signing as an individual faculty member and not in your role as dean, chair, or graduate coordinator, you will also receive those forms at your personal @unlv.edu email account.

Graduate College forms that are initiated by undergraduates (i.e. Undergraduate Approval to take a Graduate Level Course) or by graduate faculty (i.e. Graduate Faculty Status) are also now e-forms. They may be found on the Graduate College website here.

Graduate coordinators and program administrators will continue to use the Grad Rebel Gateway for recruitment, admissions decisions, and GA appointments as is the current practice. The Graduate College provides one account per graduate coordinator, an additional account per department, and two accounts for each dean’s office. Additional accounts may be purchased at cost. Please contact the Systems team at grad.systems@unlv.edu for more information if you're interested in purchasing additional accounts. Please remember that college and department users log in to the Grad Rebel Gateway differently than students; faculty/staff accounts are accessible via login.salesforce.com.

The Grad Rebel Gateway is now the “system of engagement” for graduate students and it complements MyUNLV, the student information system. Graduate students will continue to use MyUNLV as always, and the Grad Rebel Gateway supplements it by providing graduate-specific information, online forms, and support for your students’ academic progress and professional development. Functionality in the Grad Rebel Gateway will be expanded in order to better communicate with graduate students and increase efficiencies for you and your graduate students.
